Tri City Segway currently has two tours to choose from. Both tours are guided by one of our trained Tri City Segway staff. Tours last anywhere from 2 to 3 hours. Along the way we can make plenty of stops to rest or take advantage of photo opportunities. We suggest you were clothing condusive to the weather, comfortable shoes and eye protection (prescription or sunglasses), we supply the helmets and water.
Leslie Groves Tour - $65 per person
This tour begins at Howard Amon Park and travels down the scenic bike path to North Richland's Leslie Groves Park. Plenty of scenery, and photo ops on this tour. Tour last approx 2 hours.
Columbia Park Tour - $75 per person
This scenic tour begins at Columbia Point Marina Park. We travel along the bike path down through the Yakima Delta Wildlife Reserve (yes there really is wildlife down there) up into Columbia Park. Plenty sights to enjoy on this tour and unlimited photo opportunities. This tour last approx 2 1/2 to 3 hours, depending on breaks and photo ops. This tour is a little longer, you definately want to wear comfortable shoes for this one. You will never experience the Sacagawea Heritage Trail quite the way you will on a Segway PT!
RENTALS - Can Accommodate Groups up to 6 Gliders

Rent a Segway and make any day an occasion! We have several rental packages to choose from. Come on down to Howard Amon Park on Saturdays and Sundays and rent a Segway PT on the spot. Or call to reserve one for an outing with that special someone, or the whole gang. All renters must meet specific physical requirements and participate in a 15 minute saftey/training course prior to rental.
Rental price options:
5 minute demo rides: (on location) $5
First hour: $45
Each additional hour up to three: $35
Half day: ( 4 hrs ) $135

Offsite rentals add $40 dollar delivery charge - (daily rate is per unit)

Segway Certification and Training:
All riders must participate in and pass a 15 to 20 minute training class to be deemed eligible to ride one of the units. At Tri City Segway, customer safety is first and foremost. Customers must meet the following requirements to be eligible:
Minimum age - 16 years old except for private rentals. (Must be accompanied by an adult).
Maximum age - maximum age to be determined by Tri City Segway.
Must meet the following physical requirements:
Be able to step up without assistance.
Remain in standing position for up to 3 hours. (tour length).
Must have use of his/her left hand. ( traffic signaling )
Minimum weight - 100lbs.
Maximum weight - 280lbs (rider plus cargo)
Be able to maintain balance at all times.
Disclaimer:
All gliders, please arrive 20 minutes before scheduled tour or rental time. Adequate time for check-in and training a must. Tri City Segway reserves the right to refuse service at any time. Safety and complete training for all gliders is Tri City Segways number one priority. Must completely fill out liability waiver / hold harmless form, before you will be allowed to operate a unit.
Cancellation Policy:
If you wish to cancel you reserved tour, we must receive request 48 hours prior to your scheduled tour departure time. There will be no charge if this requirement is met. If you cancel your reserved tour within the 48 hours preceding the time your tour is scheduled to begin, your card will be charged the full amount of the tour/rental.
Other cancellation options:
Gift certificate/ voucher
Move reservation to another day (1 year period).
If your tour is cancelled due to weather, community events on routes or any other situation that in our opinion would create an unsafe or undesirable experience for our gliders, there will be no charge to you and we will reschedule at your convenience, if it is possible to do so.
Renters Policy: Renters must adhere to the following policies in order to rent a Segway PT:
Renters must attend 15 to 20 minute instructional and safety class.
Require major credit/debit card or cash payment prior to rental.
Valid picture ID.
No cash refunds - all refunds will be given in form of gift certificate, to be used within one year of original reservation.
Must fill out renters agreement.
Longer rentals available with reservation and deposit.
