A: Approx $5,500 to $7,000 dollars per unit depending on model and accessory package. 

A: YES!  The Segway PT is legal to ride in Washington State, on any sidewalk, bike trail, jogging path, or any street that has a speed limit under 45mph.

A: Depending on model, terraine and load weight,  you can get up to 24 miles on a single charge with the i2 unit, 14 miles with the x2 unit.

A: Yes these units are extremely durable.  All models have been purposely designed for durability and long life.  The motors are brushless motors, which means there are no parts to wear out.  All other parts were created to be easily replaced in case of wear, or damage.

Q: How long is battery life?
A: With proper maintenance and care, you could expect your batteries to last up to 7 years, before replacing.
 
Q: Can you ride the Segway PT indoors?
A: These units are listed in the same category under Washington State law as an electric wheelchair or mobility scooter.  they produce no harmful immissions, therefore they are designed and permitted for use indoors, providing it is allowed by owner of property.
 
Q: Can you ride segway in the rain and cold weather?
A: Yes.  The Segway PT is operational in the rain.  The engine components are completely sealed and water proof.  do not submerge however.  The Segway PT will operate in temperatures ranging from 14 degrees to 122 degrees farenheit
 
Q: How fast can the Segway PT go?
A: There are two setting on the Segway PT on each model.  Turtle speed allows glider to reach speed of approx 6mph, Standard setting allows glider to reach top speed of approx 13mph (for experienced gliders only).
 
Q: How long and what do you need to recharge the batteries?
A: Each Segway PT is equipped with two saphion lithium-ion batteries, which require 10 to 12 hours of recharge time when batteries are completely depleted.  A standard 110 v wall outlet is all that's required to recharge batteries.
